Souldeep Anger

There are many times when I wonder what to do with the anger I have pent up inside me.

Usually, I either swallow it, which I know is not healthy at all. Or I try to find a way to let it out.

This is usually achieved by writing, cooking, walking, or many other things.

I have lost count how many times , I should have replied and pushed back instead of staying silent.

No matter who was the one doing the pushing, be they family , friends, my relationship, etc. etc.

Trust me when I say, that doing that is wrong, because at the end of the day, the only one that gets hurt in the long run is yourself

I tried to internalize all thought processes. As a result, I made the mistake of thinking thoughts and scenarios of any kind in my anger.

In my anger, I often lashed out to hurt myself by punching the wall. I would also break things, which again is not healthy.

Which made me think of ways to help myself get better and find healthier ways to channel all that anger i swallowed up

And that led me to cooking, writing, dancing , singing, taking long walks on the beach.

To summarize my point? It is far healthier to speak up when you feel angry towards someone or something. Do not withhold it. If you have some pent up anger inside you?
Channel it towards healthy activities

And remember you are not the only one that has to deal with this type of anger .
